StoreDot Raises $42M To Make 30-Second Batteries A Reality

Nanotechnology is the future. There are so more practical and groundbreaking uses for it. Unfortunately, there are also some dangerous applications as well. Though I guess that is true about most things. Plutonium can be used as a power source in nuclear reactors. It can also be used as an ingredient in nuclear bombs. There are two sides to every coin.

Apple Set To Lose Billions In EU State Aid Case
10 years ago

I think the European Union should take tax manipulation very seriously. Widespread breaches in accountability and ethics helped catalyze the US housing market crash of 2007. It's this type of unscrupulous behavior that endangers the welfare of a market. The EU should make an example of Apple to deter others from manipulating the system. It won't stop everyone; but it may prevent an economic downturn from happening over there.

I wholeheartedly agree. I reminds me of when people say 'bad weather' is the cause of stocks falling. It's just an excuse. Like you said, a flat out denial. Bad weather? I don't think so. More like underspending on the part of the consumers.

Netflix: Partnering With France's Orange Could Be A Key Step In Strengthening Its European Footprint

I think this partnership would be a smart move on Netflix's part. What do you think? Honestly, I am a bit conflicted. As an Amazon Prime member, I prefer to use Amazon Prime Instant Video because it's part of the prime package. Since my membership is more comprehensive with Amazon, I dropped my Netflix membership. Which service do you prefer?

Is A Yahoo-AOL Merger A Good Idea?

I think Yahoo should purchase AOL simply because AOL owns the Huffington Post. What do you think? Personally, I prefer the Huffington Post to Yahoo's news. I absolutely hate how many pop-culture, tabloid stories clutter Yahoo's webpages.

RadioShack Is Up 26 Percent, Should You Buy?

Buy? I don't think so. Radio Shack has no chance of avoiding bankruptcy, even if the company does indeed manage a Hail Mary this holiday season. It won't matter. Radio Shack can no longer compete with the big names. As a consumer, Radio Shack doesn't even exist in my vocabulary when I am making plans to go shopping. The brand has become eclipsed by big names like Walmart and BestBuy. Even with Walmart's poor employee relations and BestBuy's inventory problems, customers continue to flock to them. Branding wins out in the end.
