After retiring as a senior scientist from Defence Labs in 2000, A. V. Reddy has been consulting on various multi-disciplinary R&D projects. During his career at DRDL, he headed the CAD/CAM centre and then the computer centre which handles all software development for the lab. He was involved in CADCAM, analysis and Testing of Space structures, Flight Simulation using digital and hybrid computers, Software Development, Aerospace Project Management. A.V. Reddy holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M Tech from IIT, Madras.less
