As Head of Sustainability, Brett is responsible for leading THL’s comprehensive sustainability efforts at both the firm level and across the portfolio. Before joining the THL team, Brett held several roles at MSCI, most recently as Executive Director, where he led several strategic ESG client partnerships and a team dedicated to ESG and climate strategy for many of the leading asset managers in the US. Prior to MSCI, he spent three years leading an international development organization that provides safe drinking water in Nepal. Brett holds a BA in Economics, International Relations and French from Connecticut College, and completed the Business Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Brett is also a CFA® charterholder, CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) charterholder, and has earned the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.less
