Onchi has a strategic mind-set borne of long experience working with companies, markets and public institutions. This has been as an external investor, in an advisory role, as well as part of start-up and mature stage management teams. In the latter stages of his career he has also acted as an advisor to senior policy makers and strongly believes in passing on knowledge in order to catalyze market development. In that regard he has designed and executing training programs for professionals as well as graduate level students as well as mentored. This experience spanned North America, Europe, South Africa, Kenya and included covering Sub-Saharan Africa from a South African base.
