For the past 20 years I have worked in financial services IT including data feeds, database solutions & analytics. I have imagined, planned, researched, designed, developed, launched, sold & supported a raft of data & analytical products in the institutional buy-side & in custody. For the past 15 years I have built a detailed understanding of data servicing, data management, research and analytics in institutional finance. I've travelled internationally extensively with my work, enabling me to build a truly global architectural perspective, whilst maintaining clear line of sight to the needs of local clients. The core of what sets me apart is that I am well ordered, get on with people & am a true self-starter. These are innate capabilities that are hard to teach and learn. This has allowed me to secure roles that are not normally available in the typically streamed financial services careers: from Market Research through Product Development, Project- and Product-Management, Business Development & pure Sales.
