(2) Most of my career involves project management & AI/mathematics. Particularly interested in opportunities to improve our capability to defeat persuasion (online or in media) that is misleading or hateful. All of our technological gains will backfire if it ultimately degrades our lives.
TALENT STACK: R&D management, sales, marketing, project management. public speaking, media relations and writing. Most of my career involves managing development and delivery of technology innovation in energy and mathematical finance, using highly transferable skills. I learn fast and travel well.

CAREER: Most of my career has involved adaptation of innovations in financial mathematics, computing and artificial intelligence to a range of business problems. Industry experience: energy, finance, insurance. Initially hands-on programmer, I evolved to R&D project management, client engagement, training and consulting. I am always learning and am obsessive about ensuring product and client success.
EPRI: My most recent and longest engagement: For 15 years I was product and project manager for EPRI's research and development related to power markets and risk, such as market-based asset valuation, financial risk management of energy portfolios, market modeling and power market design. At EPRI, my team delivered algorithms, software, reports, seminars, webcasts, workshops and custom consulting projects. Clients were mostly power companies but also included trading and consulting shops; mostly in U.S. but also in France, Korea, Japan and South Africa.
Prior experience in insurance and banking.
I continue to track new technologies, particularly machine learning, will consider opportunities to leverage my talents in R&D management, product management and client engagement.
