April especially enjoys working with clients who are contemplating retirement within the next five years, helping them shape their big dreams and build tax-efficient withdrawal strategies. She is also passionate about guiding early and mid-career professionals to understand the “why” behind financial decisions, empowering them to make informed choices about their future.

April is deeply involved with her Kingsport, Tennessee community and is currently volunteering with a local hiking club, where she helps maintain part of the Appalachian Trail. Previously, she served for over 12 years with Scouting USA, taking on roles like Troop Treasurer, high adventure camp leader, merit badge counselor, and Assistant Cubmaster.
When not meeting with clients, you’ll often find April enjoying the outdoors—backpacking, hiking, camping, mountain biking, gravel biking, and playing pickleball or disc golf. She is also an enthusiast of mid-century furniture and loves adding unique pieces to her collection.
