I have been working with ETFs since 2000; from operations, trading, and selling ETFs at two bulge bracket investment banks to managing the trading relationships and supporting our ETFs from beginning to end at a large ETF issuer. My experience spans that of ETF structure, pricing, risk management, infrastructure, and now, total ETF product support. At all 4 of the firms I worked for I have built infrastructure and businesses that didn’t previously exist. I have worked with and educated all manner of clients from new retail users to the largest international institutions. I am now at an established asset management firm building the pipes, infrastructure, and community to support our global ambitions to port the research and investment excellence of AllianceBernstein into the ETF wrapper. Ever since I started working with ETFs they have been a growth segment, and I still believe that they have most of their growing yet to do.
