Alex Brobst is a Research Analyst, and serves as a member of the Investment Committee of Clear Alternatives, a woman owned and operated asset management firm, focused on applying Behavioral Finance and the Cognitive Sciences to the investment process.
Utilizing her behavioral finance lens Alex makes investment recommendations to the Investment Committee. Alex also plays an integral role in developing asset allocation and strategy models for Behavioral Beta, the firm’s flagship fund.
Ms. Brobst’s research is focused on how changes in macroeconomic factors effect the performance of sectors within the US equity market. Her analysis relies upon quantitative and statistical methods.
Alex’s passion for finance stems back as far as she can remember. Throughout her youth CNBC was the primary station played in her home. She became interested in understanding the mechanics of finance as she watched analysts forecast which path a stock would take.
Alex Brobst is earning her B.S. degree from Florida State University specializing in both Finance and Economics. At Florida State, she has been chosen for numerous awards and has been active in many leadership and service organizations, such as the Golden Key Honors Society.
