Ainsley is the Executive responsible for Corporate & Stakeholder Relations at ARC,which covers all public facing activity at ARC–including investor relations as well as media engagements. He previously spent 7 years with Sanlam, holding the position of Head of Group Communication, and later as Operations Manager in the Office of the Group CEO. Before joining Sanlam, Ainsley was employed by Media24, a Naspers-subsidiary, for a period of 12 years – first working as a journalist and later as Editor-in-Chief on some of the company’s key titles. He serves on the boards of some of ARC’s portfolio companies. Outside of ARC, he serves on the Stellenbosch University council as vice chair. He also serves on the board of Casidra, a state-ownedentity of the Western Cape Provincial Government, which implements agriculture and economic development programmes. He holds a BA, BPhil (Honours degree in Journalism) and an MBA from Stellenbosch University. He has also completed several Executive Leadership Programmes in his career, most notably at Gibs, Wits and Harvard.He joined ARC in April 2018.less
