People have been using dried animal dung as fuel for fires for tens of thousands of years, and in many countries it is still common practice. This article is saying that huge swathes of our ancestral population, and huge swathes of the world's current population were not/are not rational, simply because those people do something that this person - sitting in their over-sanitized air-conditioned office, finds 'icky'. It is just more 'woke' rhetoric.
