I am the Head of Commodities Compliance for EMEA and Asia •Currently deal with day to day queries regarding products, trading and general compliance issues. Work closely with the legal department to assess and analyse risks to the business. •Writing Data Protection Policies for EMEA/Asia/PAC and ensuring new offices opened globally comply with data protection laws. Other policies written to date globally are competition law and anti-trust. •Monitoring and surveilling for market abuse and market manipulation. •Reading and interpreting regulation affecting the business such as MiFID II, REMIT, MAR, FINFRAG and Benchmarks. Relaying to senior management how the business will be subject to the regulation and what should be done to comply. •Reporting to the Global Head located in New York and liaising with Senior Management daily in London. •Following a Compliance Monitoring Plan to put in place polices/procedures and carry out risk assessments on areas of the business. •Developing and presenting training to traders on issues ranging from market abuse and manipulation to Embargoes and sanctions.less
