I have an extreme passion for bottom-up stock selection, but also remain attentive to macro themes that may impact the fundamentals of specific companies or sectors. This approach provides important perspectives and assists in avoiding value traps. My investment style is fundamental and opportunistic, yet systematic, analytical, and disciplined. I thoroughly value all companies using both a discounted cash flow and multiples comparison methodology, and also evaluate companies to see if they possess a sustainable competitive advantage that will allow them to earn and sustain economic profits (or not) for longer periods.
