Pricecheck’s Founder, Mr. Jordan Powell began teaching himself to code four years ago while studying International and Comparative Internet Law at Sungkyunkwan University Law School in Seoul. Beginning with basic relational database programming (coding tables essentially), he soon developed an introductory level of knowledge and skill regarding several other core programming functions. He applied this knowledge to qualify his vision for Pricecheck, engaged in rigorous research and application, recruited and managed a team of software developers, filed a provisional patent application with the assistance of counsel, and developed a product with the technical capacity to serve a global number of users, and merchant business customers. Effectively, Mr. Powell is adept at the process, planning, and execution of software development and remains a lifelong learner. Mr. Powell obtained his juris doctorate from Fordham Law School where he served as President of the. Global Law Society and graduated with a concentration in international and comparative law. His work there focused on preparing aspiring leaders to engage in international crisis simulations such as water shortage in China, border conflict in Ukraine, and de-escalation of persons on the brink of ethnic warfare on the island of Cyprus. This work involved real engagement on the ground with program participants on location in Prague, Vienna, New York, Washington D.C., Berlin, Hangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai from 2012-15.
