A day of diplomacy is worth a month of fighting.
------
In a world with world peace, disputes will be worked out in the High Court within the Federation without war and physical damage.
We might as well start thinking on those terms now, rather than later.

Now back to the Gita for awhile.

I was hoping to see something more indepth here. But as you likely know, you can't really have diplomacy with a terrorist group like Hamas, when they made it clear that the only thing that they will accept is for every Jew in the world to be murdered. In fact their commander recently added Christians to that statement.
Diplomacy does not mean that "justice won't be served". You do "diplomacy" to reduce the amount of future damage. I am no more afraid of the Humas terrorists than the "white extremist terrorists" here in the United States. All the terrorist groups do by their actions is to ensure their own destruction.
Please understand that the U.S. has backed Israel. That protects them by itself. Now let's do some negotations to see where we want to from there.
I hope that adds just a little depth to your concern.
That protection didn't do much for them when they lost thousands of people. And white extermists are scary but Hamas are inhumane. Beheading and burning babies alive is beyond the pale.
The protection has kept thousands more from dying.
I am not sure what kind of "justice" that you are looking for. Could you tell me more about your expectations for justice?
I never said anything about justice. You did. If I was looking for justice, and would say that the every single one of the thousands of Hamas terrorists who committed these barbaric acts would need to be arrested and serve out several life sentences.
But I'm not looking for justice, nor for revenge. All I'm looking for is to live in peace. And the only way for there to be peace for both Israelis and Gazans, is for Hamas to be completely dismantled.
But Iran is behind it all. Even if Hamas is dismantled, Iran will continue to fight Western interests through other proxies. And Hamas is only one of several terrorist groups in Gaza and the West Bank. And Lebanon. Etc.
