Many countries have been able to successfully open up again without such a large increase in infections. To the rest of the world it's pretty obvious what the US is doing wrong.

China has taken some very aggressive actions to make inroads against the virus. People are now recovering faster there than new people are being infected. But the country suffered greatly, both economically and in terms of the human toll. Will America go to the same lengths?

It's interesting you mention the drones and Orwellian tactics being employed by China to monitor the flu among its population. I bet once the threat of the virus has passed, this monitoring will stay in place.
