In 2013 I founded Exceed investments, an emerging asset manager, in order to provide a new approach to “Defined Outcome” investments, a powerful strategy once only available to institutions and high net worth individuals through costly and illiquid instruments. We are standardizing and simplifying the space by providing transparent, rules based strategies.
Defined outcome strategies provide preset levels of protection and participation allowing for predictable outcomes. For example, our flagship strategy looks to control exposure on the S&P 500 to a floor of -12.5% and cap of 15%, annually. By defining levels of risk and reward we allow for a higher level of confidence in achieving desired objectives.
