My extensive experience on Wall Street as an advisor, executive, and entrepreneur across the finance ecosystem has allowed me to bring leadership strength to roles in wealth and asset management, investment banking, and sustainable and impact investing. Key to my work is the proven ability to think laterally and bring the pragmatism necessary to create and scale new products and services for clients. Further, my strength in synthesizing and articulating complex and challenging ideas has allowed me to work with clients and colleagues at any level of knowledge and expertise.
Over the past year I've brought my commitment and creativity to advise the strategic and tactical course for the Finance Leaders Fellowship at the Aspen Institute. This work leveraged my entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and CEO of Cornerstone Capital Group, and then as Executive Managing Director and Chief Impact Officer of Pathstone following its acquisition of Cornerstone. Growing Cornerstone from start-up to a $1.4B Registered Investment Advisor and then joining a $100B Family Office showed the potential to bring institutional acumen to the world of sustainability.
And, from the very start of my finance career, my roles including Institutional Sales, Product Management, and Research Management, have all reinforced my commitment to the potential for finance as a force for good.
Regarding my longstanding leadership in the field of sustainable, impact, and values-aligned investing, I believe that investment stewardship calls for a systematic analysis of material environmental, social, and governance factors as a starting point for further deep inquiry. My vision would be to help create an economy which is ultimately more regenerative and inclusive.
In leading the field forward, I was a Founding Board Member of the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB), appointed to the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Agenda Council on Financing & Capital, and I speak on matters of sustainable investing and finance at venues around the world, including the UN General Assembly, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the Wharton School, the New York Stock Exchange, the White House, and the Vatican.
In terms of recognition of my work, I've been named among “100 Women in Impact” by Real Leaders, 2021. Named by Worth Magazine’s “Groundbreakers 2020,” Also named among “Top 50 Women in Wealth,”” Purpose Economy 100,” and among the “50 Conscious Capitalists” in “Transforming Wall Street.” And in 2019 I received Babson College’s 2019 Lewis Institute Social Innovator Award.
