Finally, the PEA got out. Look on their website. Mind you, the numbers are highly sensitive to assumed metal prices. And discount rate. The market reacted somewhat positive, share price rose a little bit on high volume (but not massive). Big question mark now is: how will they get the $20M financing for a new drilling program and PFS? Anyway, this is a steal if you believe in a buy-out scenario (still x5 potential).
1 month left for the PEA. Exciting! They also did a small pp to raise some money. Insiders participated. Nobody is looking at copper stocks, other junior copper plays are also trading at multi-year lows.
Oroco shares currently are bogged down to 70 cents and sometimes dipping lower. I think the reason is that the market knows the company now needs a bigger financing for a new drilling program and a PFS (which comes after the PEA). My guestimate is in the range of 15 to 20 million. The best scenario is Oroco finding a strategic partner (like a big miner) after releasing the PEA (September/October).
As for junior mining companies, I'm invested in Copaur Minerals, CMC Metals and Brunswick exploration. In a brutal junior mining bear market, I'm still at break-even (thanks to Brunswick). I suggest you take a look at Copaur Minerals, that could be the new Snowline Gold.
As for Oroco, Cantor came out with a bullish report. In a video of Mariusz (see Youtube), it is clear that Cantor is too conservative. The PEA coming out in September (I think) could be a big surprise to the upside for the market. Oroco is trading at 5% of the expected NPV according to Mariusz. This is quite low.
Update: two of the risks I mentioned materialized, which explains the small drop in share price, from $0,80 to $0.75. First of all, they indeed issued a small raise. Then, the copper price dropped ~15%, but is recovering now a little bit. I'm thinking about adding shares at this level.
The MRE was good, and the PEA is now due. This is still a 2024 play for me.

Yes, working on a new article (after my holiday). I'm not touting by the way, because I clearly mention the risks.
