The unemployment figure for Japan is too low. Too many of its jobs are artificially created to keep people occupied. For examples, just look at the number of seniors deployed to direct traffic around a shopping area, unnecessary structures built in parks probably to provide economic stimulus, and so on. You have to wander around a bit to see these stuff.
