Don't forget Mr. Naegele himself.  He has some of the worst rhetoric of all.  Calling people brain dead, and traitors and nazis, calling for Biden's or Bibi's heads. He's one of the worst offenders that directly lead to this horrible national tragedy. 

I agree with you that both sides must learn from this.  That we need to find our inner calm and treat each other with respect even when we disagree.  Or else next time, Trump or Biden, or whomever the next target is, may not be as lucky.

Just like those pro-Hamas protestors who claim to be supporting lives and human rights, but say nothing against Hamas atrocities or the hostages, and merely try to delegitimize Israel's right to defend herself.  The author's hate of Israel and Netanyahu is merely a stand in proxy for his antisemitism and disdain of Jews.

You are right, the entire world would have been better off had Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and/or Mao Tse-tung had been aborted.

True. And the "mutually assured destruction" which kept a nuclear war at bay during the cold war no longer applies.  That might give Putin pause.  But what about the psycho leaders of North Korea or Iran?  They may not care.  Even Trump is nutty enough to go that far.

Leave that issues aside?  The fact that Trump won't respect our democractic process, lied, and broke the law to try to cease power is the biggest issues of all.  This is much more than an election about Biden vs. Trump, it's about whehter we want to keep America a democracy
