Will Michelle Obama Run Against Donald Trump, And Will Sarah Huckabee Sanders Be His Vice President?

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

The speculation about Michelle Obama replacing brain-addled Joe Biden is rising, and may approach a fever pitch.[2]  And the distance between Barack and her seems greater than ever, as she appears angry much of the time when they are together.  At Roslyn Carter's funeral, she was there without him.

No one should forget that he had white women before meeting her. And she was apparently angry—and jealous—that she had to put her legal career on hold while raising their daughters, as his political career soared to stratospheric levels.[3]

And then there's the issue of their "chef" who died mysteriously in a small pond on the island of Martha's Vineyard, not far from their home.  By running for the presidency, it might be payback for a myriad of wounds—real or imagined, to her fragile ego—which she has suffered for decades, as attention was always focused on him.

For the Democrats, she may be a perfect antidote to California's Gavin Newsom, who fancies himself as America's future President, and whose views are to the left of Joe Biden's acolytes.  And she is certainly more acceptable than cackling Kamala Harris, whose political career began as Willie Brown's former ho.

The differences could not be more stark between Michelle Obama and Arkansas' Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who has been a favorite of Donald Trump since they worked together in the White House.  He rewards loyalty, especially as others who served him have cut and run.  The only concern about her involves health issues, but otherwise she seems perfect for the job.[4]

But Obama herself has given no inclination that she plans to run.  Plus itwould be a betrayal to their long term friend and party if she ran against Biden. I think it's unlikely.

Thank you, Peter, for your comments.  She doesn't care about Joe one iota.  Plus, there is no one else who is really viable against Trump, much less a Trump-Sanders ticket.  It's now or never for her.  Her girls are gone from home; and she and Barack barely tolerate each other.
