Some animals give nothing except love. They are glad to see you, and follow you as far as they can when you leave. They give you unconditional love, which is a rare and much-needed commodity in today's topsy-turvy world.
Women seem to cling to their fru fru dogs, to fill voids in their lives; and men do too, with their dogs. Fourteen-year-old Labs may struggle to get up at times, especially after sleeping[2], but they come to life and shine brilliantly knowing they are loved.
What a blessing—truly gifts from God!
