In a stroke of cruel irony, Stephen Miller—a Jewish man and grandson of immigrants who fled Czarist Russia—serves as the U.S. regime’s Deputy Chief of Staff and Homeland Security Advisor, and is the architect of MAGA’s inhumanly cruel roundup of mostly innocent, hard-working undocumented immigrants. Even Miller’s own uncle, Dr. David Glosser, has publicly condemned him as an “immigration hypocrite,” writing in Politico that Miller’s hardline policies would have condemned their own Jewish family to death had they been in effect a century ago.
These are not the "rapists and murderers" Trump has endlessly claimed to be going after. Most are long-time, hard-working, tax-paying members of society on whom the US economy depends. Miller has established daily arrest quotas—3,000 per day—and to meet these targets, he has pressured ICE agents to conduct workplace raids, arresting people who are working at businesses such as Home Depot and 7-Eleven, among others.
Masked ICE agents, sometimes without proper identification or warrants, are forcefully detaining moms, dads, kids, and grandparents from their homes, cars, workplaces, on the street, and even from courthouses where they are present and acting in accordance with the law. In several cases, even U.S. citizens have been detained due to mistaken identity or racial profiling.

This is the face of MAGA—and now the face of America. It is sure as hell no longer, as Ronald Reagan so eloquently put it, “a shining city on a hill... whose doors are open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here.”
Miller has declared, in word and deed, that “America is for Americans only.” Yet the people he is rounding up—who have sacrificed so much to be part of the American dream—are, by their actions, arguably far more American than he is.
