i just thought that i would let you know that i got my copy of The Old Man and the Sea, and just after reading the first ten or so pages, i think i might have an idea on the Old Man Blogger story.
Instead of the man having a relationship with a young man, i think it is going to be a relationship between two older men--the blogger, and another guy who the blogger talks to on a regular basis.
I am going to kind of study the book, the story flow, etc. this summer, while trying to develop the story line and outline--getting everything together so when i decide to sit down and write my nouvella (I Have Dedided not to call the book, The Old Man and the Blog, but just The Olf Man Blogger) i can pretty much crank it out over a rather short period.
I think that is my plan for now, but we'll see how things go.
Just an FYI. It will be another way for me to talk about globanomics, but more from a fictional standpoint than a non-fiction standpoint. I think i can make it both funny and sad, but sad yet positive at the end.
