Will Kevin McCarthy's Political Trajectory Approximate That Of Joseph McCarthy?

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Kevin McCarthy has been elected Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives[2], replacing the infamous Nancy Pelosi who has ruled that chamber of America's political elites with an iron fist, and made millions of dollars in the process.  Also, she and her colleagues in the Democratic Party—and their alter egos in the Leftist national media—were able to suppress rumors about her husband Paul's alcoholism and bisexuality.[3]

Long forgotten by most of America was the political trajectory of another politician, Joseph McCarthy, who was tarred and feathered nationally in the middle of the last century, by the Democrats and their cohorts in the media.[4]  Kevin McCarthy seems ready-made for destruction.  He hails from Nancy Pelosi's state of California, which is hated by many Americans.  He has accumulated millions while ostensibly serving his constituents; and he is arrogant beyond belief, and willing to crush his adversaries without thinking twice about doing it.

The Democrats have waged a war of destruction against Donald Trump, ever since he and his wife Melania came down the escalator at Trump Tower in New York City, and began their quest for the presidency.  They continue to do this, to prevent Trump from running for election again.  They tried to destroy Richard Nixon when he had the gall to run against the immoral John F. Kennedy[5]; and they went after Ronald Reagan too, with Iran Contra allegations.  Kevin McCarthy ought to be easy pickings for them, like low-hanging fruit.[6]

As I have written many times, when I left the U.S. Senate, I concluded that the Democrats were "evil" but smart, while the Republicans were "Neanderthals" and dumb. I have been an Independent ever since, and never wavered with respect to that decision.[7]  Lots of us may show our disdain for Kevin McCarthy in next year's elections by not voting—assuming he is still the Speaker then—which would be tragedy for our great country.  It might leave Brain Dead Joe Biden in charge, to do more damage than he's done already.[8]

Perhaps one word, "Shame," comes to mind when one thinks about the mess in Washington, D.C., which both our allies and our enemies globally cannot believe.
