By Timothy D. Naegele[1]
Decades ago, Netanyahu morphed into his ancestors' Nazi oppressors. Having had the underbelly of Israel's protection exposed on October 7th—its intelligence was nonexistent, its Mossad was sound asleep, and its "Iron Dome" was porous at best—he launched mind-boggling military strikes against the Apartheid state's real and perceived enemies.
As a consequence, anti-Semitism has reached levels not seen since World War II, with much worse likely to come; and no Jew is safe anywhere in the world today. He was hated by Ariel Sharon and the Rabins; and Leah Rabin blamed him for her husband Yitzhak's tragic assassination. She believed that peace was impossible with Netanyahu at the helm of Israel's government; and her views were prescient and prophetic.
Having followed Vladimir Putin's rise to power with Boris Yeltsin after the fall of the Soviet Union, it is clear that he is a strategic thinker. Yes, he is an unrepentant killer, having been trained as such in the DDR, or East Germany. But personal survival is his overriding instinct.[2]
Can the remains of both Netanyahu and Putin be found in bomb craters ultimately? Sure. But Netanyahu might be arrested and tried by the International Criminal Court for his many crimes. Putin has escaped such a threat because Russia is a nation that counts on the world stage, while Israel does not.[3]
Like a frog, Putin moves strategically from one safe "lily pad" to another, while the only thing that is saving Netanyahu’s reign is the presidency of Donald Trump. And yes, lots of us voted for Trump three times, but we vehemently oppose his support for the butcher Netanyahu and the Apartheid state of Israel.[4]
