Drones of unknown origins are besieging America. Inflation has hurt lots of its residents. Crime is rampant everywhere. The Democrats are in disarray.[2] But there is hope, as Donald Trump readies his new administration, which will take charge officially on January 20th.

Nasty weather patterns and fires rage. But young and old are riveted on their cell phones, absorbing an almost-infinite spectrum of "entertainment," to keep them upbeat. Sports are a "distraction" too, allowing us to cheer others, while setting aside our challenges.

Clearly, none of us will get out of this life alive, so why not enjoy our time while we're here.[3]
