At a time when God is needed the most in the United States and globally, a greedy godless American publishing company—masquerading as a church—has stopped offering its Daily Word online for free.[2] A female ancestor of mine began reading it a century ago; and it has helped me and countless others.
But the misfits who run Unity today, and who embrace and include freaks of nature, do not see it that way. Among other things, they require approval of membership; and some "applicants" are kept in perpetual limbo—or in "pending" status.[3] Since when has God required such a litmus test?[4]
Those who need God the most—for example, the homeless of this world—should have free, easy and unfettered access to the Daily Word, without any requirements or impediments. They are blessed if they have a cellphone or computer, or access to either.
The so-called "ordained ministers" of Unity should hide in shame for misusing God's name in what they do. They are an affront to everything that is dear and sacred; and they should resign immediately, and join the ranks of others who have misused religion for their own personal gains.[5]

Really? How many homeless people are spending their days surfing the web? They need food, shelter, and warm more than internet access. If they want to word of God, let them find their way to a church or soup kitchen, where they can get all of the above. But I'm sure if you really want tihs site to be free, you could offer to pay for those less fortunate to get access.
Thank you for your comments.
First, Unity runs lots of activities, unrelated to its Daily Word. This is how they make their money, albeit presenting Unity as a church.
Second, offering the Daily Word for free would cost them nothing. Put bluntly, they use it as a "hook" to sell other revenue-producing activities.
Third, it is an affront to God to charge anything for such inspirational messages.
Fourth, if ONE homeless person or marginally-homeless person was inspired by reading the Daily Word (e.g., to abstain from drugs or crime), the efforts would have been worthwhile.
