Russia is a pygmy state, run by the psychopathic megalomaniac KGB-trained killer Vladimir Putin[3], who is hated globally. Its economy is about the size of Texas, and less than that of Canada and a host of other countries.[4]
The Soviet Union, or USSR, collapsed from within. It is gone now, without a shot being fired. Putinism will die with Putin, and suffer an ignominious death. Russia may implode too. It spans nine time zones and includes 160 ethnic groups that speak an estimated 100 languages. It is by no means monolithic, and may crumble “overnight.”
Putin needs to be decapitated, snuffed out, vaporized, or hung like Italy's Benito Mussolini. At the very least, he must be tried as a war criminal, in a Nuremberg-like trial, and treated as Hitler's Nazis were. With no mercy shown.[5]
Having slaughtered brave Ukrainians, Putin's Russian forces may suffer massive executions by the Ukrainians who outnumber the Russian invaders. No prisoners should be taken. Indeed, Russians may rue the day that they supported and acted on behalf of the murderous Putin.
Lastly, our grudge is not with the Russian people. They are victims of Putin's monstrous crimes; and many are standing tall—at the risk of being imprisoned or killed—and opposing Russia's Hitler.[6]

[2] This blog began in December of 2009. Since then, the author has written numerous articles and comments about the murderous Putin. This one is short and succinct, because the dictator may be on the verge of lashing out at Ukrainians, our NATO allies, the United States, and possibly launching World War III. He is as sinister as any other figure in our lifetimes.

Agreed. But how do you sever the head without starting World War III?
Thank you, Harry. It's a delicate process, marshaling world pressures, pressures inside Russia itself, and having sanctions "bite." If Putin has truly "lost it" mentally, he may be a "loose cannon" and very dangerous unless those around him choose to act.
I wonder if it's an act so that we take his threat of nuclear weapons seriously. Then again, he could have annexed Eastern Ukraine without a shot fire. I don't understand why he's started such a deadly war.
