Biden is a brain-addled buffoon who occupies our White House at the moment. The sooner he is gone—and his access to the nuclear codes that allow him to launch World War III is removed—the safer that the world will be. The latest polling shows that he has almost no support among Independents, a crucial American voting bloc.[2]
Will he drop out of the race for the presidency like Lyndon Johnson did in 1968, and if so when? If he does, a Democrat with proven "star power" will need to take his place, such as former First Lady Michelle Obama.[3] Last night, California's Governor Gavin Newsom debated Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis; and Newson's arrogance and pomposity proved to be "out of the box" and repugnant.[4]

I read that Newson trounced DeSantis.
Quite to the contrary, Newsom came across as pompous and obnoxious, which he is. Even the Drudge polling - which is biased - showed Newsom being trounced.
Actually no. that's just your opinion and you are only saying that because you dislike Newsom's politics. Most people tend to pick "their side" as the winner. And various media outlets all had different opinions on who won as well. so there's no clear winner. They both scored some points, and both took some hits.
But really, since, as Newsom said, neither of them will be the presedential nominee for their party, what does it matter?
Actually, while there may not have been a clear winner, there was a clear loser - DeSantis. But not for the reason you might think...
Only one of the two debaters is actually running for president. Any dings Newsom took from DeSantis are meaningless since he's not running. But every hit DeSantis took will hurt him since he's the only one in the race.
Good point!
Sadly, Biden IS our president, because he won the election. We can't only acknowledge the presidency when its our candidate who wins. Otherwise our democracy and freedoms mean nothing.
