Jesus of Nazareth

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

At this time of the year, billions celebrate Christmas globally, not always understanding the day's and festivities' origin or history.  In fact, it celebrates the birth of Jesus[2], with Christianity being the largest religion in the world[3]—whose spread might not have occurred without Alexander the Great.[4]

To understand the life of Jesus, one might wish to watch a wonderful British program starring Robert Powell and a distinguished international cast, which aired in 1977.[5]  Few historical programs are perfect, but this one is worth watching[6], even by those who have experienced God.[7]

Merry Christmas to all!

Hard to believe that Bethlehem, the birth place of our Lord, is now in Palestine, a country who voted an evil group of thugs into power, whom only care about murdering and raping innocents.

Thank you, Susan.  Merry Christmas to you.

Decades ago, Benjamin Netanyahu morphed into his ancestors' Nazi oppressors.  He was hated by Ariel Sharon and the Rabins; and Leah Rabin blamed him for her husband's tragic assassination.  She believed that peace was impossible with Netanyahu at the helm of Israel's government; and her views were prescient and prophetic.

Netanyhu and the "Settlers" and rabid Zionists have engaged in oppression, and now genocide, long before the tragedies of October 7th ever occurred.  Because of their actions, anti-Semitism has been rising for decades globally, to levels not seen since World War II.

I'm not sure what your obsession with Netanyahu is.  His political days are over after his failure to protect his people from being massacred on October 7th.  However, comparing him to the Nazis who tried to exterminate all the Jews and any one else is found undesirable is both absurd and offensive.

If Israel wanted to commit genocide against Gaza, they easily could do it - they have one of the strongest armies in the world. Yet every year the Gaza population grows exponentially - the exact opposite of genocide.  In fact, this war would be long over if they did not show so much restraint.

But I'm not sure why I would expect anything different.  Your illogical hatred of, and bias against, Israel is well known. Maybe save some of that hatred for the actual terrorists like Hamas and Hezbollah.

As Golda Meir said “We can forgive you for killing our children, but we can never forgive you for making us kill your children.”  Israelis abhoar the war and lament the death of innocent Gazans. By contrast, a recent poll showed that 72% supported the massacre of innocent Israelis on October 7th.

It's hard to compromise and find peace when the only demand of the Gazans is that the Jews roll over and die.
