Is Donald Trump A Hypocrite?

Date: Friday, August 25, 2023 2:37 PM EDT

  By Timothy D. Naegele[1]

Yes, he spurned the despicable Australian Murdochs' Fox News[2] on the eve of his arrest and now-infamous mugshot in Georgia[3], and racked up "views" that far surpassed Fox's ratings.[4].  But by choosing Elon Musk's equally-odious Twitter—or "X" as it is called now—it is arguable that Trump betrayed his loyal supporters nationwide.[5]

Indeed, it is submitted that Tucker Carlson—who interviewed the former President—has "sold his soul to the Devil" by using Twitter/X as his platform of choice, after the Murdochs "axed" him.  At least in the case of our former President, he had a logical and far-better choice: the Right Side Broadcasting Network.[6]

RSBN has covered Trump’s rallies and speeches almost from Day One, when his quest for the presidency began in 2016.  They have done a very professional and terrific job of keeping the Trump/MAGA faithful up to date and informed.  Indeed, if Trump is reelected in 2024, it can be argued that RSBN kept his supporters energized and motivated, which resulted in his victory.  Historically, RSBN's importance cannot be underestimated.

Instead of rewarding loyalty, Trump followed Carlson "into the abyss" by choosing Twitter/X as his platform of choice.  Also, despite being a billionaire, he keeps soliciting monies from his supporters to cover his legal bills, all the while that others in his "entourage" struggle to pay theirs.  Hypocrisy has its limits.

Trump is more than just a hypocrite. He is a conman, a liar, and a danger to democracy. I for one will not be voting for him again and believe he deserves prison time for  starting the Jan. 6th insurrection.  Pence is the man for me.

Right iwng media can't be trusted any more.  Fox News just had to pay nearly a billion for lying to their audience about the election.  Looks like they haven't learned their lesson either as they just got caught lying again:

Lawsuits are settled for a variety of reasons, unrelated to admissions of guilt.  The Austrailan woke Rupert Murdoch may have ordered a settlement, rather than engage in lengthy litigation and the disclosure of internal communications involvlng family members (e.g., Lachlan).  To conclude that Fox News lied about the election results is absurd.

And yes, CNN cannot be trusted at all.  Its once-faithful audience has deserted it; and its viewership is miniscule these days.

What the heck is RSBN?  Never heard of it.  Seems to me that Trump was smart for announcing it on Twitter (I won't call it "X"), rather than some network no one has ever heard of.

It's a far right media site that peddles conspiracy theories. It actually explains the author's frquent and obvious bias if this is where he gets his information from.

Timothy Naegele 8 months ago Author's comment

Quite to the contrary, I do not get my information from RSBN except for the content of Trump speeches.

Fake News (e.g., CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post) peddle the propaganda of brain-addled Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, the Biden Family Crime Syndicate and their co-conspirators (e.g., Merrick Garland, Christopher Wray, Jack Smith).

Yes, it was Fox News who got caught lying to their audience and it cost them nearly $1 billion. Not any of the media outlets you cite.

Nonsense.  Please see my response to Adam Reynolds' similar comments above.

As my article states, it is Right Side Broadcasting Network, which has covered Trump rallies and speeches nationwide, since shortly after he began his quest for the presidency in 2016.  It is excellent.

Yes, Trump is a hypocrite and worse.  But not for the reasons you stated.
