By Timothy D. Naegele[1]
Granted, I haven't crossed paths with any violent gang members. But in grade school, my classmate was Alfredo Banos, who is gone now but will always live on in my memories.
They are some of the hardest-working, nicest people whom I have ever met. Their food is wonderful, but it is fattening which is why lots of them are overweight.
They work at a whole host of jobs, which non-Hispanics avoid like the plague. And from what I have observed, they are very family-oriented, which is truly a gift from God.
I cannot speak more highly of any other group of Americans. They are a blessing, to be treasured. Their music is alive, and captures the essence of God's jubilation at Life. And they are proud of the fact that they are Americans like the rest of us.[2]
