By Timothy D. Naegele[1]
Americans would have to be blind not to notice the deterioration of our great country. At times it seems as if Hannibal Lecter[2] and Helter Skelter[3] rule: crime everywhere[4]; homelessness galore.[5]
Streets and roads that rival the worst in third-world countries.[6] An educational system that costs an arm and a leg; and saddles kids and/or their parents with life-long debts, and no jobs at the end of the "Rainbow."
The disparity between the "haves" and "have nots" widens. Out-of-sight wealth (e.g., yachts, mansions, private jets) contrasted with the homeless going through trashcans, seeking anything of "value."
Like him or not, Donald Trump believes that a rising tide lifts all American ships. We are not out to save the world, nor is that our job. It's called "survival of the fittest." But Trump wants to bring every American along: black, white, Hispanic, Asian.
America is the only true melting pot in the world. All of our ancestors came from somewhere else, even the "Native Americans" whose ancestors crossed the "Bering land bridge" from Asia.[7] We are all equal in the eyes of God.
