Boycott Public Storage, It Is A Ripoff

Americans and citizens of other countries rent storage units for a variety of reasons.  Business records and other items are kept in them, as well as personal possessions.  It's a big business.

But one company needs to be singled out and boycotted: Public Storage.[2]  Zero integrity applies to its operations.  Prices can escalate overnight; and its customers have no choice except to pay the fees, or lose everything—which is especially onerous for senior citizens.

Unlike other storage companies that offer air-conditioned units with very rare price increases, Public Storage is run by greedy "price gougers" and "ripoff artists."  They need to be put out of business now, and sued personally.

Vastly bigger Costco is a global entity too, which has garnered steadfast public loyalty by raising its membership rate and other prices minimally over many decades.  After being sacked and sued, Public Storage's new management might wish to emulate Costco's practices.[3]

To the extent that any Public Storage facilities are used by government, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) should look carefully at such relationships.  Excess charges should be recouped; Public Storage's management should be sued personally and prosecuted; and other storage arrangements should be made.
