Certain valuation, momentum, and growth metrics have been academically shown to predict stock returns over time. We measure the average excess returns that these factors have produced historically, by analyzing academic paper results or doing the backtesting ourselves. Using these results, our algorithms then rank stocks on their strength in different metrics and predict the amount of alpha they will generate in the future, specifically focusing on 12-month timelines.

QuantifiedAlpha.com is currently in beta-testing. Quantified Alpha generates earnings forecasts designed for short-term traders looking to profit off earnings releases. Our historical testing has identified multiple statistically valid factors that our algorithms utilize to compute earnings probabilities. We believe our probability-based research is more in tune with how markets work in reality, and allows traders to better gauge the risk-reward nature of earnings related trades. |
