Mr. Hake formerly ran a hedge fund, money management, and an investment research firm. In addition, he consulted with various hedge funds, tech companies, and fintech companies as a Chief Strategy Officer and CFO.
Prior to that, he worked at TIAA-CREF in the international equity division and the Principal Financial Group, in both positions as a securities analyst. In addition, he spent six years working at a senior level in the Pentagon in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense.
He has an MBA from George Washington University, an MPIA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA from Ohio University.
