John is Samadhi’s Founder and Managing Partner. He has over twenty-seven years of total tech-related experience, including nine years of hands-on technical, sales, and business development positions, six years of industry analyst and consulting positions, and fourteen years as an equity analyst/portfolio manager. Prior to Samadhi, John was a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Sands Capital Management, where he led the tech sector research team and was responsible for all tech sector stock picks. John also launched and co-managed the all-cap, tech-focused Technology Innovators fund while he was at Sands. Previously, John was a Senior Analyst at Precursor, Inc., a tech-focused research and consulting firm, where he was ranked by Institutional Investor as the #1 analyst covering the Network Equipment sector among independent research firms in 2005. John was also an analyst with Decisys where he focused on emerging technologies in the tech and networking sectors. John graduated from Harvard College with an AB in East Asian Studies.less
