The best advice that i can give anyone (anywhere in the world) if they want to really understand what is going on in the United States of America today is to watch Nicole Wallace between the hours of 4:00 - 6:00 pm, mondays thru fridays on MSNBC.
Nicole Wallace, worked high up in the George Bush, Jr.'s Administration. She is brilliant. She knows how and why the White House, Congress, and Supreme Court do the type of things they do, and she knows how it supposed to work. Her guests, and typically there are several, all know their shit regarding the topics at hand. Nicole gets the best lawyers, the best ex-Government officials, the best financial experts.
Tape it if you cannot watch at that time. That is what i do. In fact, i usually wait and don't start watching Nicole until about 4:20. That way i can have happy hour at the same time, zip through the commercial breaks, and catch up with the tape live about 6:00. Voila 120 minutes in 100 minutes, and happy hour plus dinner at the same time.
The days that John Heilman shows up are extremely special. He has this entire el trumpo thing entirely figured out, and he is like our rebel troops here. He is just flabbergasted of the stupidity of the American people today. He's like us, anymore all we are left with is sarcasm. We have said all the other things so many times before, it hardly seems worth just repeating things that no one listens to or believes.
Given two-hours to deal with the day's activities allows Nicole and her expert guests discuss the issues with insight and wisdom. There is not another show on television like it at the moment. It will also help you appreciate the way America was before el trumpo.
Joe Scarborough and Michael Steele are also two more NBC stalwarts that are starting to get their due. We were thinking what if NBC returned to the Huntley/Brinkley type format, but it being Scarborough/Steele instead. Give those guys an hour or maybe more and "nightly news" would return to its rightful position of "nightly required watching".
NBC is our communications ally. El trumpo likes to trash both NBC and MSNBC. That is reason enough you should start watching it, if you know what i mean. Let's start seeing the ratings shift from Fox Propaganda Business and National News to something a little more reputable, something like NBC Nightly News with Joe Scarborough and MIchael Steele.
