Rocket Science for Traders. John developed StockSpotter's proprietary formulas and indicators. John received his BSEE and MSEE from the University of Missouri and did doctoral work at George Washington University. He is the founder of
MESA Software, having pioneered the MESA method of cycle analysis in the late 1970's. John is the recipient of the Market Technicians Association (
MTA.org) Charles H. Dow award.
Ric Way is an entrepreneur and .NET/C# software developer with a BSEE from the University of Minnesota.
He developed StockSpotter's C# trading system software, SQL Server database, and ASP.NET website.
Ric co-developed the
first pop-up calculator TSR (
terminate stay resident) for MS-DOS along with one of
Microsoft's founding employees in 1985 and the first
HP-12C financial calculator for Windows in 1991.
