The S&P 500 climbed much of this week, ending over 4000 and up 13.3% year-to-date. The index was 13.9% below its record close and up 1.42% from Thursday's close.

The U.S. Treasury puts the closing yield on the 10-year note as of July 29 at 2.67%, which is above its record low (0.52% on Sug. 4, 2020). The 2-year note is at 2.89%. See our latest Treasury Snapshot here.
