Founded in 1909 and headquartered in Luxembourg, Tenaris SA (TS) engages in the manufacture and supply of steel pipe products.

Its products include steel casing, steel tubing, line pipe, mechanical and structural pipes, cold-drawn pipe, premium joints and couplings, coiled tubing, and sucker rods. It operates through the Tubes and Others segments.

Three key data points gauge TS or any dividend-paying entity, namely:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

TS Price

Tenaris' share price rose 7% last year from $32.22 to $34.48 per Wednesday’s market price.

Twelve analysts cover the stock.

The median of those 12 analyst annual Tenaris price targets was  $7.78. That target would put the TS stock price for 2026 at just over $42.00. Of course, the price could also stay flat or decline.

TS Dividends

Tenaris has paid semi-annual dividends since June 2003. The current forward-looking annual dividend of $2.24 yields 6.5%.

PBA Returns

Putting it all together, a $7.52 estimated gross gain per share shows up when adding TS’s annual $2.24 dividend to an average estimated $5.28 annual price gain.

A little over $1000 invested at the recent $34.48 share price would buy 29 shares which, multiply the $7.52 estimated gross gain to $218.10 for the coming year.

Over one-third of that $218 gain comes from the annual $65.00 dividend generated from your $1,000 investment. Furthermore, the $65.00 annual dividend income from $1,000 invested is nearly 2 times greater than the recent $34.48 single-share price.

(A dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a stock that pays an annual dividend from $1000 invested that is greater than the cost of a single share.)

Therefore, you could choose to pounce on TS with its dividend payout nearly double the single share price.

The exact track of TS’s future share price and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
