Founded in 1967 and headquartered in Lunenburg, Canada, High Liner Foods, Inc. (HLNFF) processes and markets value-added frozen seafood.

HLNFF markets its products under eight brands: High Liner, Icelandic Seafood, FPI, Viking, Mirabel, American Pride Seafood, Fisher Boy, Sea Cuisine, and 40 Fathoms.

Three key data points gauge HLNFF or any dividend-paying entity, namely:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.

HLNFF Price

High Liner’s share price was up 26.28% last year, from $9.55 to $12.06 per Tuesday’s market price.

No analysts cover the stock.

However, the average annual price gain over the past three years was $0.94.

That annual increase would put the HLNFF stock price for 2026 at $13.00. Of course, the price could also stay flat or decline per market action.

HLNFF Dividends

High Liner has paid variable quarterly dividends since December 2003.

The current forward-looking annual dividend of $0.50 yields 4.11% as of Wednesday’s share price.

HLNFF Returns

Putting it all together, a $1.44 estimated gross gain per share shows up when adding HLNFF’s annual $0.50 dividend to an estimated $0.94 annual price gain.

A little over $1000 invested at Wednesday’s $12.06 share price would buy 83 shares which, multiply the $1,44 estimated gross gain to $119.40 for the coming year.

34.4% of that $119 gain comes from the annual $41.10 dividend generated from your $1,000 investment.

Furthermore, the $41.10 annual dividend income from $1,000 invested is over 3.4 times greater than the recent $12.06 single-share price.

(A dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a stock that pay an annual dividend from $1000 invested that is greater than the cost of a single share.)

3.4 is more than 1.

Therefore, you could choose to pounce on High Liner Foods with its dividend payout 3.4 times above the single share price.

The exact track of HLNFF’s future share price and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.

Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
