Hello Group Inc (MOMO) was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China.
Hello Group Inc. provides mobile-based social and entertainment services in the People’s Republic of China and internationally.
The company operates in three segments: Momo, Tantan, and QOOL.
Momo is a mobile application that connects people.
Tantan is a social and dating application.
QOOL provides live video services for various content sources.
The company was formerly known as Momo Inc. and changed its name to Hello Group Inc. in August 2021.
Three key data points gauge MOMO or any dividend paying entity, namely:
(1) Price
(2) Dividends
(3) Returns
Those keys also indicate if any company has made, is making, and will make money.
MOMO Price
Hello Group’s share price fell $0.05 last year from $6.87 to $6.82 per Friday’s market price.
Eight analysts cover the stock.
The median gain of those 8 analyst annual MOMO price targets was $2.72.
That target would put MOMO stock price for 2026 at just about $9.60. Of course, the price could also stay flat, or decline.
MOMO Dividends
Hello Group has paid dividends annually since April, 2019.
The current forward-looking annual dividend of $0.30 yields 4.40%.
MOMO Returns
Putting it all together, a $2.48 estimated gross gain per share shows up when adding MOMO’s annual $0.30 dividend to an average estimated $2.18 annual price gain.
A little over $1000 invested at Friday’s $6.82 share price would buy 146.6 shares which, multiply the $2.48 estimated gross gain to $363.64 for the coming year.
Just 12% of that $364 gain comes from the annual $44.00 dividend generated from your $1,000 investment.
Furthermore, the $44.00 annual dividend income from $1,000 invested is near 6 times greater than the recent $6.82 single-share price.
(A dividend dogcatcher rule is to only buy initial shares of a stock that pay an annual dividend from $1000 invested that is greater than the cost of a single share.)
Six is more than one.
Therefore, you could choose to pounce on Hello Group with its dividend payout near 6X the single share-price.
The exact track of MOMO’s future share price and dividends will entirely be determined by market action and company finances.
Remember, the best way to track stock performance and dividend payments is through direct ownership of company shares.
