Headquartered in France, Publicis (PUBGY) is the world’s second-largest advertising holding company based on revenue.

Publicis’ services, which include traditional and digital advertising, public relations, and consulting, are provided worldwide, with over 80% of its revenue coming from more developed regions such as North America and Europe.

It serves clients in the automotive, retail, financial services, consumer products, and media sectors.

Publicis Groupe S.A. was founded in 1926 and is headquartered in Paris, France.

Three key data points gauge Publicis or any dividend-paying firm.

The key three are:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three keys also best tell whether any company has made, is making, and will make money.

PUBGY Price

Over the past year, Publicis’s share price increased about 33% from $19.81 to $26.42 as of Wednesday’s market close.

If Publicis shares trade in the range of $15.00 to $35.00 this next year, its recent $26.42 share price might rise to $29.25 by next year. Of course, PUBGY’s price could also drop about the same $2.83 estimated amount or more.

My $2.83 upside is based on the average Pubicis one-year target price upsides over the past five years.

PUBGY Dividend

Publicis has paid variable Annual dividends since August 2001. A recent $0.86 dividend was declared June 7th for shareholders of record June 28th and was paid July 16th.

A forward-looking $0.91 annual dividend yields 3.44% at Wednesday’s closing price.

PUBGY Returns

To put it all together, a $3.74 estimated one-year gross gain per share shows up by adding Publicis’s  $0.91 annual dividend to the estimated price upside of $2.83.

A little over $1000 buys 38 shares at $26.42 per share.

A $10 broker fee (if charged), paid half at purchase and half at sale, might take $0.26 per share out of the $3.74 gross gain to reveal a net gain of $3.48 X 38 shares = $132.24 for about a 13.14% estimated net gain on the year.

Furthermore, the $34.30 annual dividend income from $1K invested is $7.78 greater than the $26.42 single share price. By these numbers, Publicis Groupe may be an ideal dividend dog.

You might choose to pounce on Publicis Groupe SA.  It is a 102-year-old dividend-paying Paris-based ad firm with a 23-year track record paying variable annual dividends.

The exact track of Publlcis's future price and dividend will entirely be determined by market action.

Remember the true value of any stock is best realized through personal ownership of shares.
