E Cannabis Central: Pot Stock Index Up 3.6% On Friday; Aurora Down 8%

The Non-Penny Pot Stock Index (NPSI) was UP 3.6% Friday with 8 of the 9 industry categories advancing. Aurora declined the most (-8%) on the day but was still up 42.9% for the week.

Again on Friday the vast majority (30) of the 38 NPSI constituents advanced (28 advanced on Thursday), 2 had no change in price and only 6 declined. Here are the details:

  • 9 constituents advanced between 5% and 9.9%
    • Alcanna (LQSIF) +8.6%
    • Cronos (CRON) +8.1%
    • AYR (AYRSF) +7.7%
    • Neptune (NEPT) +7.0%
    • Valens (VLNCF) +6.9%
    • Canopy Growth (CGC) +6.4%

15 other constituents had either No Change in price (2) or modest gains of less than 5%.

The Biggest Losers:

On Friday only 2 NPSI constituent declined in excess of 5%, namely: Aurora (ACB) -8.0% and Avicanna (AVCNF) - 5.2%. 4 other constituents declined less than 5%.
