David and I are putting together a series of videos on YouTube on VPA concepts and setups and how to apply them to the charts. In this first video, we focus on Nvidia (NVDA) and Apple (AAPL), looking at the daily and one-minute charts, respectively. This video also highlights how we can apply the volume price methodology across all timeframes.

Of course, Nividia is recovering from last Friday’s correction, which resulted in a bearish engulfing candle on high volume. My take at the time was that we were probably looking at profit-taking, so no surprise to see confirmation this week of very high insider selling. As we can see on the chart, the price action resulted in a bearish engulfing candle on very high volume which also triggered our Quantum volatility indicator. Since then, Nvidia has retreated into the spread of this candle as we wait for tomorrow’s Quad Witching when all options and futures contracts expire when we can expect very high trading volumes and sometimes accompanied by volatility, but not always.
