EU Council President Donald Tusk Warns Of Revolution In Europe

Tusk Donald EU Council President

EU Council President Donald Tusk from Poland is shocked by the fierce debate over the Greek bailout in the EU Parliament. He told the FT: “It was the first time that I have seen radical with such emotions. It was almost half the European Parliament. Therefore, I believe that no one is a political winner in this process, not even Germany. “

The resentment within Europe is off the charts. We are witnessing the breakdown of the EU project. We have France calling for effectively the surrender of all sovereignty to Brussels and we have Germany demanding austerity and the Greeks must pay.

In between these two extremes lie the people of Europe who do not see themselves as Europeans, but as separate ethnic groups with distinct cultures. Even within Germany those in Bavaria say they are Bavarian before they say they are German. This EU Project has turned Europe inside out and the dream of one government would create peace is having exactly the opposite effect. With the turning point of the ECM coming up in less than 90 days, we must be concerned that this could become the tipping point in Western history.

The European Union grew too big and too fast. It´s a rag of rich, poor, civilized, not so civilized and some countries are no longer democracies (Hungary). The EU will reach critical mass and explode. It´s basically a dead man walking.

One Government? Crazy idea. One size fits all NEVER works. Big and bigger government sucks all initiative away from people. Crazy idea. Empower people, please, not more government.

I wondered why they wanted the EU to grow so quickly, and I thought the way of helping up the poor countries would be the rich countries starting projects of infra-structure, farming, industry or whatever, but it has been all about money and the banks, and it will never work! Building something would create jobs and a value for the country, this way we will all end up poor, because the only solution the EU can come up with is moving money around and making rules for everybody - except Luxembourg where the big companies get away with tax-fraud meaning loss to everybody else! - What are you thinking?! - Same rules for everybody - except our 'friends'? - I am sick of the world being run by ppl with no hearts, but a lot of money!

The above sounds very serious. It also has many similarities to my Country Malaysia.

We are at boiling point now and It makes me wonder, which of us will be hit first.

You are much more fortunate. We have turmoil with in us. You can always return to your own Country, injured but with a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel. You can rebuild. EU may die but Your Country can pick up again.

I see no light in our darkest tunnel.

How wrong you are. Yes Malaysia has worries most counties do but read European history and see there is potential there for WW 3, WW1 and WW2 were stated there so why not WW3

Hmmmm. "French surrender". Now when have I heard that before? " Seems to me that it is time for a "Gerxit" . Germany doesn't need this nonsense anymore.
