The market is still waiting on Jay Powell for additional clarity on the Fed policy outlook, though the clear trend since last week’s solid US NFP print, has been to square up on Dollar shorts and reconsider Fed rate cut bets. This has fueled broad demand for the Buck, while at the same time, imposing downside pressure on equities.
